Sonia Murphy – Teacher
Sonia has been surrounded by kids since her mother opened a family daycare in which Sonia regularly assisted. After working as a freelance writer and penning a few children’s books, she realized how much she missed working directly with children and thus began volunteering at Small World Preschool in Deerfield as well as the Greenfield Center School’s Kindergarten classroom. After spending some months working with kids as well as furthering her early childhood education, Sonia knew she had found her calling. She is especially interested in building children’s literacy skills as well as working with them in artistic endeavors. Sonia is Teacher Certified with a BA in English Literature. She currently lives in Greenfield with her husband and daughter.
